Andrew is like many seven-year-olds. He likes to pretend, often in costume. But Andrew's grandmother, Nancy Brizendine, says unlike many of his peers, he is escaping from villains that torture his mind. Andrew has been diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder. He has hallucinations along with sadness and anger. Andrew has had four stays since last fall at Marillac, a psychiatric treatment facility for kids in Overland Park.
