Childhood should be a carefree time of happiness and discovery. So when doctors begin to talk about depression among preschoolers, it’s no surprise that the diagnosis is met with skepticism, an issue explored in this week’s New York Times Magazine.

  1. I believe this is related to a study that stated many supposed symptoms where actually those children were too young to be in class and not a disorder. If it is, or you may have an article specifically stating this. I can relate, since I was held back in the first grade. At that time it was called being immature.
